No dark beers on as they were exploding in the back room. Read that some vandal broke several windows in York St including a window in the Boat. Scum.

Mid to late evening visit. The Guv's privately owned local brewery artefacts slowly being taken down, leaving the walls increasingly empty, prior to the pub changing hands after next weekend, being the end of an era.

The pub is found in Ramsgate, Kent, CT11 9DS.

Micropub opened on Good Friday 2013 on the site of the Hovelling Boat pub which closed in 1909 (and re-opened 104 years later). No lager or keg beers are sold here. Other past lives of the building have been as a florist's shop and a fancy gift shop. A menu of the beer and cider on offer is shown on a wall blackboard then your drink is fetched (with table service) from a back room having been served on gravity dispense there.

We have visited this pub 143 times, seen 197 different beers and tried 133 of them.
