Mid afternoon- a couple of drinkers in each bar. Nice place, shame about the beer.

Mid afternoon cycle on the hottest day of the year so far. Only one in. Glad that they are opening all day. Bit of a breeze inside. Table service for C19 compliance.

Mid afternoon- late diners just finishing, one chap working on his laptop in the drinking bar.

Late afternoon - a few drinkers in. Landlord pleased that his wake related trade had picked up after a slow August. I can’t help feeling that it’s not the way to develop regular business.

Saturday evening - here to catch up with some old friends over a few pints. Restaurant quite busy, drinkers bar less so but we got the comfy seats.

Late afternoon - diners mostly finished and we had the left bar to ourselves - relaxing listening to some old classics on the sound system - until the landlord sat at the bar and started listening to something else on his phone - time to leave.

Here for a Monday lunch. The restaurant area was more or less full but the bar empty. Always a friendly welcome here.

In Covet Lane, reopened after flooding in early 2014. There are three bars, one of which can act as a restaurant or function room or just as a drinking area. A gastro pub found on the outskirts of the village.
