Myself, and just about all the other customers during my visit, are here for good beer and good value lunches, during the lunch break from the cricket match taking place at the nearby Bristol County Ground.

The pub is found in Bristol, Avon, BS7 9EQ.

A most unusual pub, built in the former skittle alley of the adjoining (and still trading) Sportsman pub. By definition, it is single storey and elongated. A conservatory adds seating space, and there is a patio at the front and a garden at the rear. CAMRA and pensioner discounts given.

We have visited this pub once, seen 5 different beers and tried 1 of them.
