Thornbridge / Thornbridge Hall - Jaipur5.90ExcellentSpot on
Harvey's - Sussex Best Bitter4.00PoorNot advertised so not sure if I should have had it. From an uncooled gravity cask on the counter top. Anyway if it was Harvey's Best it tasted nothing like it. Lemonade disguised its dire shortcomings
Great Heck - Mt. Hood4.50Not Tried
Ilkley - Blonde3.90Not TriedOn the counter top in a gravity cask

Mid evening visit after a failed bus change plan caused a change of venue plans too. Had obviously been very busy here earlier and the band was clearing up its gear.
BeerABVScoreNotes
Harvey's - Sussex Best Bitter4.00AcceptableToo chilled, killing off this beer's potential subtle flavours
St Austell - Tribute4.20Not Tried

Attempted just after midnight visit, thwarted for the 2nd time in 3 visits by random early closing. Now off my radar.

03 May 2018 (Philip Pirrip)
Unsated late evening visit at 11.20 with window advertising midnight close. A hoodie came to the crack in the front doors and told me it was closed "No customers". Customers do require to get in the place to gain that role!

The pub is found in Charlton, Greater London, SE7 8UD.

One of two pubs in The Village. Refurbished some time ago and now sports bare floorboards throughout. A single L-shaped bar serves a single bar floor. Tell-tale doors show a past multi-room venue. Large garden. Re-opened once more in early September 2015, seemingly out of a Pubco's grip, with a greater emphasis on cask ales plus some live music. Several upstairs rooms opened in summer 2017, one with a bar but not serving real ale. 20p price discount on pints only of cask ales for card carrying CAMRA members. 8 handpumps. Closed, without prior warning, on Monday 9th March 2020.

We have visited this pub 132 times, seen 324 different beers and tried 154 of them.
