Evening. Unfortunately at 9.45 the doors were locked despite usual hours being until 11 according to CAMRA's Whatpub.com site. Well you don't take money when entry is denied, nor attract return visit loyalty.

The pub is found in Westminster, Central London, SW1H 9EX.

This pub was established here in Petty France by 1729 and rebuilt in fairly plain style in the late-Victorian period. It is a small, street corner house, with a private bar leading off from the main bar area. There is also a very small yard at the rear for external drinking. Taylor Walker gives a price discount on real ale for card carrying CAMRA members.

We have visited this pub twice, seen 5 different beers and tried 1 of them.
