I was drawn in here by the sign advertising a ‘London Cask Festival’. Slightly underwhelmed by the selection though and only stayed for one.

This pub in Wilfred Street was established as the Pineapple in 1809 and was renamed the Colonies in 1976. Tucked away just off Victoria Street, it attracts a trade of local office workers during the day and local residents in the evening. Has an unexpected backyard seating area.
