Very quiet pre Saturday lunchtime.
BeerABVScoreNotes
Bath Ales - Golden Hare4.40GoodFairly sweet with a caramel toffeeness almost bordering on diacetyl. A little hop bitterness just keeps the balance. My score 15/20.

Otter - Amber4.00ExcellentGoog malty base to this with good hop balance and a sweetish malty finish. My score 16/20.

Excellent pub and like the Green Tree, small. Theatre posters cover the walls in the stair well down to the toilets. We sat outside and watched the world go by - and then discussed its merits.
BeerABVScoreNotes
Cheddar - Potholer4.30ExceptionalOrange brown with no head. Deep earthy orangey hop bite. Big earthy hop finish. Reminiscent of mature Goacher's Light. Excellent stuff
Abbey Ales - Bellringer4.20Not Tried
Wickwar - Rite Flanker4.30Not TriedTony didn't think a lot of this.

Beer served at its best and great street seating so we could watch the world go by, "very continental, just as Mr Blair intended" said Andy. The pub is a 4/5 on a sunny Saturday afternoon.
BeerABVScoreNotes
Cheddar - Potholer4.30ExceptionalOutstanding beer. Great hoppy flavours with a floral nose (hint of orange rind).
Wickwar - Rite Flanker4.30PoorWatery disappointment, with a bit caramel. Poor beer, but served in good condition. I threw in the towel halfway through the pint and traded up to the outstanding Cheddar Potholer.
