23:00 The modern bar does not detract from the overall feel of the place. Very busy with young people. The Oude Geuze list features 14 different beers from 12 producers. The man behind the re-opening was out for the evening so his mother was helping out. We had a good chat with her and later her son when he came in. She works at the De Lambiek museum in Alsemberg and invited us to visit outside opening hours the next day.
BeerABVScoreNotes
Boon - Lambic5.00Good
Hanssens - Oude Geuze6.00Good
Saint-Feuillien - Belgian Costal IPA6.00GoodTypical hoppy golden ale. Belgian's are following the English beer revolution.
Boon - Mariage Parfait Oude Kriek8.00AcceptableFirst time I have seen this beer. Disappointing the beer is too smooth. One of our party had Hanssens kriek and the difference was stunning.

The pub is found in Dworp, Belgium, 1653.

An old lambic cafe re-opened after a 12 year closure. The bar itself is a modern addition but the room retains the built in seating and feel of a traditional cafe. There is a second room that was previously a restaurant.

We have visited this pub once, seen 4 different beers and tried them all.
