Swift half just before 5 - not too busy but bickering staff meant a bit of a delay getting served.

Years since I was last in here. But I seem to have come on a bad evening for beer quality – on the plus side, at least at 6pm my pints were served in old-fashioned glass.
BeerABVScoreNotes
Purity - Rivet4.00AcceptableChilled and flat, but drinkable.
Adnams - Southern Lights Red Ale3.80PoorCold, flat and thin-tasting. Juicy red fruit. Only a hint of the expected southern hemisphere hops. Will have to hope for a better example of this beer elsewhere.

Evening. Quite wanted to visit here for old time's sake but upon being told I must drink from a plastic receptacle, departure quickly followed.
