17:00 Excellent little back street boozer. We were made very welcome by the Landlady and the customers. The Brazilian Landlady and her partner have recently bought the pub and are intending to bring the single handpump back into use. We had to make do with Guinness.

About The Claremont

The pub sign. The Claremont, Bognor Regis, West Sussex

Website.

The pub is found in Bognor Regis, West Sussex, PO21 1UH.

Tucked away c.1910 brick built pub in Scott Street which retains a lot of inter-war fittings in its two rooms. The public bar on the left retains unusual bare bench seating around the front and left sides of the room and a 1930s brick fireplace. A passage at the rear between the two bars has an intact hatch. There is fielded panelling all around the lounge bar. An old passage beyond the lounge bar has an oddly located tiled fireplace.

We have visited this pub once, seen 0 different beers and tried them all.
