A group of arrived to try this place, it appears to have recently been decorated and had two keen and enthusiastic members of staff on duty. We expected to get 20p CAMRA discount but were pleased to be told that it was 50p on Wednesdays.

Orkney (Sinclair) - Kittiwake4.40Not TriedThis replaced one of the beers that ran out. It is advertised as a collaboration brew between Orkney and Belhaven and described on the GK web site as Inspired by the maritime environment shared by Belhaven and Orkney, this fruity pale ale has a tang of salt spray along with the zesty citrus of cascade and centennial hops. As fresh as the sea.

13:30 Lunch stop, so we were here for two pints. Very friendly welcome. Bit modern interior for my tastes but comfortable enough.
