Quite a lot of people in here watching football, early on Sunday afternoon. I had forgotten that this is the Deverell’s brewery tap and later felt disloyal for not drinking their beer – still I did have one from the other Grays brewery.

Originally the Half Moon, this large pub sits in a part of Grays that is officially called Little Thurrock. Since 2013 it has been the brewery tap for the Deverell’s Brewery. Essentially now all one large room. Garden area to side. CAMRA discount offered. Eight handpumps on the bar.
