19:30 We had planned to eat in Diss on our way home but the train from London came to a halt at Ipswich owing to a failed freight train at Stowmarket. Not knowing how long we would be delayed we baled out and came here. Not keen on polycarbonate glasses but everything else was good.

The pub is found in Ipswich, Suffolk, IP4 1AS.

Large pub complex in Wherry Quay formed from an old maltings and grain merchants on the Ipswich quayside. Coffee shop, bars, six function rooms and a large courtyard. The Briarbank brew pub is on one corner of the site. Polycarbonate glasses are used because of the size of the site.

We have visited this pub once, seen 2 different beers and tried 1 of them.
