A ridiculously rushed visit when our coach pulled up outside for a 20 minute call. The barmaid was a little surprised, but coped admirably with the sudden crush. I didn’t get anywhere near the bar and know not what other beers were on sale – just the two random halves Robert S obtained for me.

The pub is found in Neath, Glamorgan, SA11 1PH.

A small, backstreet pub just off the town centre of Neath. Described in the Good Beer Guide as “probably the best backstreet pub in Wales”, which is quite a claim. Home to the Borough Brewery. Horseshoe-shaped bar counter with six handpumps.

We have visited this pub once, seen 2 different beers and tried both.
