17:30 Our plan was to visit four bars in Kortrijk, came here first and got stuck. Without a doubt the most interesting selection of Belgian beer in a small bar I have ever seen.
BeerABVScoreNotes
Alvinne - Kriek van Mortagne5.50ExceptionalDraught. Without a doubt the best cherry beer I have ever tasted. Superb balance of sweetness and tart. The cherry stone flavour adds a deeper note. The beer is aged in Pomerol barrels.
De Ranke - XX Bitter6.20ExcellentDraught. Finished with an old favourite.
Struise Brouwers - Danko Power IPA3.50ExcellentDraught. Low gravity for a Belgian beer, but very tasty. A collaboration by head brewer Urbain Cotteau and Tomas Danko. Hopped with Columbus, Perle, Citra, Galaxy and Ella.
Verzet - Rebel Local IPA8.50ExcellentAromatic and tasty.
Gulden Spoor - Druivenbier6.50GoodDraught. Very malty with an intriguing sweet and sour mix.

Single room student bar in Vlasmarkt, not far from the railway station. The entrance door bears the sign "AB and InBev free zone", the owner also bans syrup beers. The printed beer beer list is interesting, the ten taps have some unusual draught beers and a number of blackboards advertise enticing guest beers.

We have visited this pub once, seen 5 different beers and tried them all.
