I came here at lunchtime on a lovely spring day and found the place quite busy. Liquid lunch for me, in the bar area. Always nice to visit a brewery tap.

The pub is found in Newburn, Tyne and Wear, NE15 8NL.

This extensive pub is attached to the Big Lamp Brewery, the whole large complex housed in a former pumping house which stands next to the entrance to the River Tyne Country Park. There are separate bar and dining areas and a big outdoor seating area. Accommodation is available at the Keelman’s Lodge.
