13:00 This is a pub I have noticed from the train before but never visited. Fairly busy with diners but the lady serving found time to talk to us and again told us the same sad story about the planned closure. I recommend a visit whilst you can.

The pub is found in Battersea, Greater London, SW8 4AG.

Formerly Old Red House, at the other end of the same block as the Pavilion this is a lovely little pub. An inter-war build now a single wood panelled room with its original bar counter. Of note is the still working manual dumb waiter, one rope for up and one for down. This is also under threat of demolition in the next eighteen months (as at June 2015).

We have visited this pub once, seen 1 beer and tried it.
