Lunchtime cycle group meet. Six of us thoroughly enjoyed the good choice of ales. An we clocked the “copper pottle” itself - a half-gallon copper jug on the shelf behind the bar.

Cycling past just after 2pm nominal closing time - but it was open for a swift one. Unusually for a micro this now has a small garden area. Friendly place.
