Evening. Since my first visit has introduced a food menu of pies and burgers. Lively bar staff. Note the tartan toilet seat in the Unisex loo which seems to be in the domestic accommodation next door. The beer board did not reflect the beers actually on sale.
BeerABVScoreNotes
Isla Vale Alesmiths - Big Red Beer4.60AcceptableI found this an interesting tasting Irish ale style albeit quite cloying, my colleague said it was very home brew
Canterbury Ales (sometimes badged as Canterbrew) - The Reeve's Ale4.10Not Tried
Wantsum - Yellow Tail4.50Not TriedOff sale. Barmaid said was being replaced by Wantsum as something badly wrong with the cask

Thursday afternoon, I expected the pub to be closed for the afternoon but I found that it is now open all day. I had a good chat with the girl serving and had a steak pie and mashed potato to accompany my pints.

Evening. Heard of this new outlet earlier today so had to go to see. Enthusiastic barmaid told of future plans and hopes for the venue which has superb views over the harbour through its front windows.

The pub is found in Margate, Kent, CT9 5AE.

Located near Margate railway station in the exotically named road called Buenos Ayres, the former Railway Café has been converted into a "Micro Bar" (opened in late June 2015) with real ales and ciders on gravity dispense. Real ales are sold from 2 tier auto-tilt stillage for 8 jacket cooled casks which are in the middle of the bar room. Comparatively limited opening hours. Has a set of fully matching brown tile topped tables. A food menu was introduced shortly after opening so it is not a Micropub. The former café counter is towards the back. Beers and ciders are listed on a wall blackboard. Closed towards the end of 2015 for conversion to a fondue restaurant called Melting Pot.

We have visited this pub 7 times, seen 12 different beers and tried 4 of them.
