The pub is found in Aldgate, Central London, E1 7EX.

The only surviving traditional pub on Middlesex Street (better known as Petticoat Lane) – there were once at least nine others. It was present by 1838, probably earlier, and for most of its history has been a Truman’s Brewery house. In 1997 it was acquired by Thorley Taverns and renamed the Market Trader, after many years of ownership by the Pollack family. The name reverted to Bell in 2010. Today the pub has a small, wedge-shaped ground floor bar with plenty of wood-panelling and a basement bar with pool, darts and table-football.

We have visited this pub once, seen 4 different beers and tried 1 of them.
