After visiting a few fairly quiet pubs it was good to see this one absolutely heaving just like in the old days. Unfortunately the person feeding the juke box had a completely different taste in music to me.

Mid afternoon visit and heaving! A proper Eccles Patricroft crawl atmosphere. £2.20 a pint adds to the joy.

A welcoming pub and very good value. I had originally planned to have something to eat in the Eccles Cross (Wetherspoons) nearby which was closed so the barmaid here recommended an Indian Restaurant above a vape shop nearby.
