A slow trickle of evening rush hour customers in here. A pleasant place with nice staff. Three gravity dispensed real ales at £3 a pint.

West Berkshire - Tamesis Extra Stout4.90ExcellentBlack. Complex. A smooth stout with initial sweet, fruity tastes but developing a dry, bitter, coffee taste. I suspect it would have been excellent had it not fallen flat so quickly in the glass.

The pub is found in Reading, Berkshire, RG1 1NF.

A new coffee shop/bar which opened on the plaza in front of Reading railway station in June 2016 following demolition of a particularly hideous office block. In theory it is a temporary building, but everyone seems to think that it will be here for a long time. Essentially a large portacabin with a decking seating area at the front and a rooftop terrace. There are two handpumps on the bar and a small stillage.

We have visited this pub once, seen 3 different beers and tried 1 of them.
