Afternoon - just a couple of other punters apart from our party of six. More like a normal pub than a micro - nice and airy, very clean throughout. We sat in the window and enjoyed the sun and people watching.
Whitstable - East India Pale Ale4.10Good
Whitstable - Native Bitter3.70Good
Yeovil - British Summer Time4.50GoodExcellent condition- a little bland after ten Boutilliers beers we had earlier.
Daleside - Autumn Leaves3.40AcceptableCondition ok - but "brown ale" flavour not to my liking.
Brampton - Mild4.90Not TriedWow 4.9 for a mild - went down well with some of my group.

Evening until 10.30pm close. Everywhere in Faversham seemed quiet tonight, this was no exception so felt a tad guilty keeping the barman there just for me.
Whitstable - Native Bitter3.70GoodFresh on
Beavertown - Gamma Ray5.40AcceptableNot silly London prices so gave it a try. Reinforced my view of new wave keg beers. Ugly bulbous branded glass, over-chilled, over-gassed and honestly painful to drink

My first visit here, we sat by the window in the front bar and watched the world go by. A good chat with the chap behind the bar who said he was looking forward to attending the White Cliffs Beer Festival on Friday. I have not listed all the beers that were on.
Whitstable - Renaissance Ruby Mild3.80Good
15 Dec 2016 (Philip Pirrip)
Evening until 10.30pm close. My first visit, can see no reason why not a Micropub but the row of fizz taps is a worrying trend, they are in an increasing number of Micropubs, a concept which originally were cask only ale houses. Ambience may be work in progress but felt rather clinical.
Whitstable - Kentish Reserve5.00AcceptableRather metallic

About The Corner Tap

Summary of Beer Scores

The pub is found in Faversham, Kent, ME13 8PE.

A two roomed pub, in the style of a Micropub, created from a glazing shop conversion in Preston Street which opened on 1st December 2016. Real ales, ciders and keg beers are sold from the bar counter in the bare boarded front room through a line of wall taps. More comfortably appointed rear room up three steps. Inevitably majors on selling products from the owning Whitstable Brewery.

We have visited this pub 10 times, seen 31 different beers and tried 11 of them.
