A superb Harvey's house. We used the Public Bar and I treated myself to one of their excellent cheese sandwiches. A late running bus from Lower Horsebridge meant that we nearly missed this pub out but we voted to put the whole itinerary back by 30 minutes, a very sensible decision.

Mid afternoon a few others in the main bar, we perched at the end of the bar and chatted to the barmaid and a couple of other customers. Another timewarp pub retaining its classic interior.

Lunchtime visit and fairly quiet. I enjoyed a beef sandwich which was excellent value at £3.20.
