Back again - walked the coast path from Little Haven arriving just after noon. A few early drinkers scattered around outdoors. It would have been idyllic - but what sort of management allows a gardener to wield a petrol driven strimmer around the property for over half an hour when there are lots of customers in? Grrrr.

Tenby Harbour - Caldey Lollipop4.50AcceptableStraight from the barrel - a tasty IPA but not much life in it.

Pembrokeshire Craft Brewery - Skirp Gold3.80AcceptableNew on. Straight from a small plastic cask. Very lively and rather cloudy. Could have done with settling a bit longer I think.

Late morning - well 11. Serendipitous find - we were just about to turn back on our coastal walk from Little Haven after about three miles when I spotted beer barrels outside a house in the distance. Walked through what appeared to be a fairly relaxed large family home to a reception at the back near the garden. Asked if it was too early for a beer and was taken to the basement bar. Only one hand pump on but looked to be an assortment of other drinks. Enjoyed my early snifter in the sun at garden. We will be back.

The pub is found in Druidstone Haven, Pembrokeshire, SA62 3NE.

On the Pembrokeshire coastal path overlooking the sandy beach. Rambling pub hotel house with various lounges and a large dining room on the ground floor. The bar is in the basement. There is a large enclosed, walled garden area and a separate patio area facing the sea. The whole place is an eclectic mix with a very relaxed feel to it. There are a few small holiday cottages around the garden area.

We have visited this pub 3 times, seen 4 different beers and tried them all.
