I hadn’t really planned to come in here but spotted a couple of friends at an outside table as I was passing. Too few staff for a very busy pub led to a long wait for service. I did not note the available beers.

The pub is found in Maidenhead, Berkshire, SL6 1QJ.

A town centre JD Wetherspoon pub with all the familiar Wetherspoon features. Unlike many ‘Spoons houses, this one has long been a pub and once served as a coaching inn on the main road from London to the west country; acquired by Wetherspoon’s in 2009. There are public rooms at ground and first floor level and extensive pavement seating at the front. Ten handpumps on the bar.

We have visited this pub once, seen 1 beer and tried it.
