In here early evening but crowded and mainly reservations. We left and went back to our hotel nearby. I came back later for a pint at the small bar. Still felt unfriendly and touristy. Most male waiting staff in leather shorts with grumpy faces. 3 other home brews on.

Lunchtime and a couple of home-brewed beers to help wash down a large bowl of goulash.
BeerABVScoreNotes
Salm Bräu - Helles4.80GoodAn unfiltered, fresh-tasting, low-hop, uncomplicated beer.
Salm Bräu - Märzen5.00AcceptableI know that I do not much care for this style of beer, but I felt that I had to drink at least one whilst in Vienna. Red/brown, malty and quite sweet.

The pub is found in Vienna, Austria, 1030.

A large Vienna brewpub. Located on Rennweg in an historic building that forms part of the lower part of the Belvedere complex. Very much on the tourist trail. There are numerous rooms on several levels, including in vaulted brick cellars.

We have visited this pub twice, seen 2 different beers and tried both.
