Dave and I moved on here, where there is a nice bar but the single ale on did not excite.

The pub is found in Clerkenwell, Central London, EC1N 8SJ.
A very long-standing pub, established at this site by 1746. It became a freehouse in 1988. Today it is better known as a restaurant, but there is still a perfectly normal, if somewhat upmarket, pub at ground floor level. Four handpumps on the bar.
We have visited this pub once, seen 1 beer and tried it.
