Evening visit, my first visit here. A pleasing conversion of a pub that could have been lost forever. Enthusiastic friendly bar staff who are very aware that something needs to be done about the echoing sound patterns here. Interesting small walk-in cooled cellar room, a halfway between a chilled cabinet and a full blown cellar room.

The pub is found in Eltham, Greater London, SE9 5PR.

In Court Yard just off the High Street the former Crown pub has been part transformed following a wider development of the entire premises. A small bar, along the lines of the Micropub style, which opened in April 2018 selling cask ales and ciders / perries served on gravity dispense from a cooled small walk-in cellar room behind the bar counter and with 10 keg beer taps on the back wall too. Seating is at trestle style tables and low chairs. The original ground floor pub frontage has been retained.

We have visited this pub once, seen 5 different beers and tried 2 of them.
