16 Jul 2018 (Philip Pirrip)
Evening visit until 11pm close. Tempted, for a last knocking's treat, by an 8% keg Deya Falling Into Place, honestly a disappointing oily DIPA with lemon juice domination so not really a treat at all. £5.50 a half shows the craft beer market's view of its own self-importance.
Ramsgate Brewery (Gadds') - No. 54.40AcceptableLacking a buzzy mouthfeel

Northern Monk - Eternal Session IPA4.10AcceptableA murky murk somewhat resembling a smoothie. I found this a slow drinking chore

About The Rusty Bucket

Summary of Beer Scores

The pub is found in Eltham, Greater London, SE9 5PR.

In Court Yard just off the High Street the former Crown pub has been part transformed following a wider development of the entire premises. A small bar, along the lines of the Micropub style, which opened in April 2018 selling cask ales and ciders / perries served on gravity dispense from a cooled small walk-in cellar room behind the bar counter and with 11 keg beer taps on the back wall too. Seating is at trestle style tables and low chairs. The original ground floor pub frontage has been retained.

We have visited this pub 15 times, seen 34 different beers and tried 18 of them.
