Another quick stop while waiting for the Bird & Barrel's 1730 opening time, busy with many outside as in. The licensee confirmed this was a mainly lager drinkers pub which was no surprise.

Evening visit. Rude not to visit when in the area although not really my sort of house with purely national beers on handpump.

The pub is found in Barnehurst, Greater London, DA7 6HG.

1930s estate pub in Barnehurst Road, adjacent to Barnehurst railway station, for many years the only pub in the vicinity (until Bexley Brewery's Bird & Barrel opened in April 2018). One room with an L-shaped bar counter with 2 banks of 4 handpumps, although only 1 bank is currently in live use. A suburban styled detached building with an original large Charrington's Brewery House of Toby tiled sign on the front gable.

We have visited this pub twice, seen 5 different beers and tried 1 of them.
