BeerABVScoreNotes
Ilkley - Mary Jane3.50ExceptionalSublime.Very pale. Excellent hop and autumn fruit.Just this once I'll forgive the use of Yankee hops in English beer.
Thornbridge / Thornbridge Hall - Dark Harry3.90ExcellentThornbridge's take on a mild:very clinical.Toast, charcoal mouthfeel.Long hoppy finish.
Black Sheep - Brew # 14.80GoodA beer from Black Sheep's micro brewery. Ultra pale, with Cascades and added coriander and orange peel. Slightly oily, and not really to my taste. Malt and hops only for me.

Lunchtime on a sunny October Saturday. We sat in the little bar too close to the roaring fire and watched the young things disport in the garden. An american craft keg wheat beer-Blue Moon, also available.
BeerABVScoreNotes
Wall's - The Dark Side4.40ExceptionalDescribed as a milk stout.Jet black with a lasting white head.Bitter chocolate, hedge fruit:not too much roast malt. Very approachable.
Wensleydale - Semer Water4.10ExcellentBrave for a brewer to name a beer after a large waterbody. Pale and citrus with some background sweetness from the malt. Grand stuff, selling very well.

Bradfield - Farmers Blonde4.00ExceptionalWe're farmers, and MrsW is brunette, but otherwise this was perfect:citrus, but with a heap of malt flavour. Deathly pale, as is the modern way,but I liked it.
Brass Monkey - Golden Monkey4.10ExcellentGood beer, but bit more colour, bit less flavour.
