Late morning and I was the only customer at the time. Chatty bar staff made me feel welcome.

A former Firkin pub, this pub has been refurbished and is now bright and airy. Some nice pictures of the former York Tramways network are on display in the bar. The pub offers Karaoke on Fridays and Sundays, a free juke box on Thursdays, darts on Wednesdays and free pool on Tuesdays.
