On a night of torrential rain, a visit until just before midnight close.
BeerABVScoreNotes
Chimay - Blue9.00Good2016 bottle, very metallic smell and taste
Evan Evans - Celt Bleddyn5.20GoodNo Evans Evans brewing provenance on the clip so it looked like a product from the Celt Experience brewery which closed up last year. Typical Evans Evans brand buy up problem. Good beer with a kick though

The pub is found in Lee Green, Greater London, SE12 8SS.

Standard smalltown Wetherspoon's fayre. Dark inside and toilets a good half mile away from the bar up a baronial hall style staircase. Outside seating provides a real hidden suntrap. 8 handpumps in 2 banks, each of 4. This Wetherspoon pub bears the name of one of England's greatest astronomers. Pub named after Edmund Halley, who gave his name to a now famous comet, and who lies buried in St Margaret's graveyard. Edmund Halley was born in 1656. His studies in astronomy and mathematics led him to be appointed a Fellow of the Royal Society, at the age of 22.

We have visited this pub 41 times, seen 146 different beers and tried 57 of them.
