Jane, Isabel, Alison and I came here for lunch. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the food was very good and reasonably priced. If it hadn't have been raining we'd have sat in the garden as the views across the valley were lovely.

The pub is found in Kilmington, Devon, EX13 7SF.

A single roomed thatched pub with a garden affording views of the valley. Closed for nearly a year, some years ago, after a serious fire. One of very few pubs to have been in every CAMRA Good Beer Guide (since the first in 1974) for many years but no longer. 3 handpumps on the bar counter.

We have visited this pub once, seen 3 different beers and tried 1 of them.
