Busy late afternoon session. Always found this pub unrelaxing. It doesn't seem to know if it's a pub or a restaurant.

Table service only. Nigel an I had to sit outside, which was okay.

Handful inside with more out on the terrace.

Just after midday. Handful of elderly customers sat by the window eating. Ghostbusters on the radio.

1980's new wave on the radio. Right odderty this pub. Like something out of the 70's when men wore white flares and Roger Moore was Bond.

Funny old place this. If it were fictional it would be the centre of some kind of rum smuggling operation.

I sat out the back on the patio overlooking the beach and the Cobb. It was about 5pm and the crowds were still milling about.

Funny pub really. Great views out to sea but the inside is a little like a surgery waiting room.

I've been coming to Lyme Regis for years and, from the exterior, this pub always had an odd feel to it. In fact it's not as rough as I always believed it to be. In fact it has some nice views of Golden Cap - that hill that round these parts is seen as a mountain. Anyway, at 12:30am on a Tuesday it was populated with a few elderly dinners and me. I stared out at Golden Cap; they ate fish.

I've never been in this pub before and I've been to Lyme loads of times. I think I'd peered in the window on previous occasions and not seen any handpulls so not bothered to go in but this time I spotted a couple so thought I'd give it a go. The pub was fairly empty of chairs and tables in the middle giving the impression they expected lots of people crowding in. The walls were chocolate and cream coloured and a games machine stood in front of the darts board. At one end there were a group of folk sitting enjoying the sea views.
