There were 2 chaps at the bar when I entered. The pub had the feel of a drinkers pub. I got my drink and sat outside in the garden in the distant company of a chap having a smoke. The staff were friendly.

The pub is found at the bottom (north) end of Station Road in Rainham, right before the marsh-lands start. The pub interior is horseshoe in shape with one side longer than the other. The garden is walled. 3 handpumps on the bar counter. Re-opened late February 2024 after a period of closure.

We have visited this pub twice, seen 3 different beers and tried 1 of them.
