Tasting Summary

These comments are the opinion of the individual reviewer and represent what they thought of the beer on a particular day in a particular pub. If a review is less favourable, it may be because the beer suffered somewhere in the supply chain between them and the brewery.

Swan Inn, Stone, Staffordshire

Nick WillisGood19 May 2014 Strange mild, golden in colour and malty. More of a trad. bitter in my opinion.

ChrisEAcceptable11 May 2011 Advertised as Acorn Lightness 9 gallon, I wondered whether somebody had written down exactly what it said on the cask label. A light hazy slightly sickly beer with a white head.

Rat & Ratchet, Huddersfield, West Yorkshire
