AndrewExcellent11 Aug 2015 This is my kind of beer. Deep brown colour, soft in the mouth, sweet bite, low hopping. Bit of Brett yeast too.
AndrewExceptional06 Sep 2014 Dark brown. Soft mouth. Excellent deeply rich malt loaf body. Hops are subtle. Excellent beer.

Stephen HarrisGood10 Sep 2014 A nice, proper Brown Ale. Dark, a bit of toffee/caramel, but not excessive. Lingering, sticky finish. Served with a ‘London’ head – almost a rarity in chain pubs these days.
