AlenomoreExceptional30 Dec 2012 The beer of the day. A top class big un'. And a shame that all the bottled Imperial Stout had gone.

BrianExcellent02 Dec 2012 As I said before, the hit of coffee seems stronger than before.

AndrewExceptional02 Sep 2011 What a great beer this is. Black with all that vinous toastiness you get with Larkins Porter but with some great dark chocolate and chocolate powder notes.

BrianExcellent22 Feb 2013 If the oatmeal stout was an excellent then this was an excellent+. I could drink this all day...well except at 5.8% I couldn't, but apart from that it's a superb coffee, chocolate, silky smooth sweet porter. As good here as at the Foundry

AlenomoreExceptional06 Sep 2012 A top ale from the Foundry. Sampled this one twice over. "A dark, malty porter with strong toffee-chocolates and a licorice finish. Hops: Goldings and Floral Willemette".
