Tasting Summary

These comments are the opinion of the individual reviewer and represent what they thought of the beer on a particular day in a particular pub. If a review is less favourable, it may be because the beer suffered somewhere in the supply chain between them and the brewery.

Stephen HarrisGood21 Feb 2012 Ages since I’ve seen this beer available on cask. A deep ruby red, complex beer. Smooth and mellow, but with only a hint of the sour flavours (which perhaps develop better in the bottle?).

oz11Excellent22 Dec 2011 A great beer from the GK stable. First time I've seen it in cask form, but at 5% a little lower than the bottle (unless I'm mistaken). £3 per pint makes it good value too, I reckon. This might be an M&B/Ember Inns exclusive.

Peacock, Kettering, Northamptonshire
