AndrewExcellent12 Aug 2005 Marmalade coloured bitter with a full flavour and hints of apple and orange peel and that distinctive Harvey's yeast taste
IanGood12 Aug 2005 Orange colour with little white head. Nice though with Harveys yeasty nose with apple and orange peel. Good hops
IanGood19 Mar 2005 Dark gold in colour. Light fruit and malt in mouth with Harvey's yeasty nose. Very pleasant and refreshing beer with a fruity spicy hop finish

IanGood14 Nov 2008 Harvey's yeast aroma. Slightly less tangerine than some pints of this I've had, but still good. We were both impressed with how the barman pulled beer off before serving us.

IanExcellent13 Jul 2007 At a mear £2 a pint this was a complete bargain. First pint disappeared in 5 mins. And the second pint lasted 10 mins. Great Harvey's yeast on end. Not quite as tangeriney as I would like.

IanExcellent21 Oct 2006 One of my favourite Harvey's beers. I love the mix of Harvey's yeast with the marmalade fruit and dry hop finish. Excellent.

Harvey's Armada Ale

4.50% ABV.

A premium bitter, born from the bottled ale of the same name. Brewed to an original gravity of 1044° -1048° , this golden bitter is ‘dry hopped’ in cask to produce a dry, bitter palate and a splendid aroma of hops. It was awarded Second Prize at CAMRA’s Great British Beer Festival in 1992.

We have tried this beer 56 times.

We have given this beer an average score of Good to Excellent.

Other Harvey's beers.
