These comments are the opinion of the individual reviewer and represent what they thought of the beer on a particular day in a particular pub. If a review is less favourable, it may be because the beer suffered somewhere in the supply chain between them and the brewery.

Stephen HarrisExcellent20 May 2014 On keg dispense. A very complex, golden, cloudy beer. Brett sourness and woody dryness dominate. Even better than last time I tried it – probably worth 5 stars really.

Stephen HarrisGood24 Apr 2014 On keg dispense. Nothing like any Belgian Pale Ale I’ve ever tasted. This because of the barrel-aging in a white wine cask and the addition of brettanomyces. This gives a pale, cloudy beer with a dry, woody, winey taste and a pleasant sourness. Complex.
