Tasting Summary

These comments are the opinion of the individual reviewer and represent what they thought of the beer on a particular day in a particular pub. If a review is less favourable, it may be because the beer suffered somewhere in the supply chain between them and the brewery.

HSBPoor21 Aug 2014 I haven't drunk Donnington for years. It wasn't very good. Poor homebrew.

Philip PirripExcellent05 Nov 2012 In first rate condition. As the links between Arkell's and Donnington are family close let's hope this ale is often in Arkell's pubs in the future.

Battersea Beer Festival 2011, Battersea, Greater London

WhoScoreWhenNotes
thebrewingmanExcellent09 Feb 2011 A good session bitter not often found at festivals.

The Snowshill Arms, Snowshill, Gloucestershire

Paul BExcellent25 Oct 2008 A good thirst quencher in great nick -as always for this pub. Darkish in colour, slightly malty. Could be a session beer but think it may vary in strength, like its (locally notorious) big brother SBA.
