Tasting Summary

These comments are the opinion of the individual reviewer and represent what they thought of the beer on a particular day in a particular pub. If a review is less favourable, it may be because the beer suffered somewhere in the supply chain between them and the brewery.

Stephen HarrisAcceptable26 Nov 2014 A sweet, fruity, red ale – lacking body and little evidence of hops. I cannot blame poor condition of the beer this time; it was perfect.

Princess of Wales, Charing Cross, Central London

Stephen HarrisPoor18 Nov 2014 Cold, flat and thin-tasting. Juicy red fruit. Only a hint of the expected southern hemisphere hops. Will have to hope for a better example of this beer elsewhere.
