Tasting Summary

These comments are the opinion of the individual reviewer and represent what they thought of the beer on a particular day in a particular pub. If a review is less favourable, it may be because the beer suffered somewhere in the supply chain between them and the brewery.

The Eleanor Arms, Bow, Greater London

Stephen HarrisGood23 May 2013 In my view, probably the best of the regular SN beers.

The Royal Albion Hotel, Broadstairs, Kent

BlairAcceptable17 Sep 2012 I thought they'd stopped making this, haven't seen it in ages. Wouldn't blame them stopping, it's pretty unremarkable.

The Globe Inn, Hythe, Kent

The Gate Inn, Marshside, Kent

AndrewAcceptable29 May 2005 A clear chestnut brown beer with a slight head. Very hoppy but with a bitter resinous taste that I don't overly like. If there were any malt it was over powered by the resinous hops
IanGood29 May 2005 I quite liked this. Mid brown bitter with flowery hops, Sheps yeast on the nose, some light acids. A good bitter
