Tasting Summary

These comments are the opinion of the individual reviewer and represent what they thought of the beer on a particular day in a particular pub. If a review is less favourable, it may be because the beer suffered somewhere in the supply chain between them and the brewery.

Stephen HarrisAcceptable04 Apr 2012 This is actually not bad. Biscuit malt base and a bit of a hop bite without the overpowering lemony flavour of previous years.

IanAcceptable13 Jul 2005 Smell of cinnamon and floral hops. Lots of citric lemon flavour and hoppy lemony finish. Fruit is a tad artificial and doesn't mesh with the rest of the pint

AndrewAcceptable03 Jul 2005 Ummm... an interesting one. Imagine a pint of Harvey's Best Bitter crossed with Lemon Jif. It had a underlying maltiness if you searched for it through the overpowering citrus taste. To start with I thought it was quite nice but after the first half a pint I was beginning to have second thoughts.
