These comments are the opinion of the individual reviewer and represent what they thought of the beer on a particular day in a particular pub. If a review is less favourable, it may be because the beer suffered somewhere in the supply chain between them and the brewery.

IanGood20 Apr 2007 I thought this used to be stronger than 4.5%. On its day one of my favourite golden beers. This was a little muted and hazy, but still with decent hop kick. Drinkable.

AndrewNot Tried01 Jul 2006 Pale gold with a slightly sulphorous bitterness to it. Jane had it and really like it.

IanAcceptable08 Jan 2006 Golden colour, thin white head. Attractive sweetish malt aroma. Good hops, citrus and tangy on the end
IanExcellent03 Jul 2005 What a day!! Walked into this Wetherspoon's not expecting much, but not only have they got Hophead, but this as well. Golden with a creamy white head, sweet organges with hint of herb and some citrus hops. Good malt gives this a rounded creamy flavour with an acidic orangey finish. Would have been happy with this, but with Hophead on.....
