Tasting Summary

These comments are the opinion of the individual reviewer and represent what they thought of the beer on a particular day in a particular pub. If a review is less favourable, it may be because the beer suffered somewhere in the supply chain between them and the brewery.

The Woodlark, Derby, Derbyshire

Martin the MildmanExcellent14 Apr 2012 Dark brown mild with a sweet malty character and virtually no hops. Just like a mild should be. Believed to be brewed at Worthington's. My score 16/20.
Martin the MildmanGood08 Jul 2011 Ruby coloured mild with little hoppiness and a fruity finish. Served too cold here and therefore a little hazy. My score 15/20 with B for quality.

The Southwark Tavern, Southwark, Central London

Martin the MildmanExcellent30 Mar 2010 Brewed at Highgate these days. This sample was red coloured and quite sweet and fruity with a malty background and low hopping. My score 16/20.

The Thomas Ingoldsby, Canterbury, Kent
