IanGood29 Mar 2010 5 years ago I loved this beer. Then came the hop shortage and my perceived level of Cascade hops dropped. Now? It's getting back to its best. Bit earthy on aroma, but then decent fullness in mouth and a decent hit of Cascade hop on the end. Hoppy, certainly for a UK beer.
IanExcellent20 Jul 2005 As before, lots of cascade hops make this excellent
IanExcellent17 Jul 2005 Copper coloured and has won Hampshire beer of the year a couple of times. Made only with cascade hops. Good hoppy aroma, slightly creamy in mouth with strawberries and raspberry malt flavours and a slight citrus herby hop taste. Good bitter citrus finish. Really tasty beer

IanAcceptable26 Sep 2009 Still just not as hoppy as I remembered it say 3 years ago when the Cascade hops jumped out of the glass at you.

BlairExcellent18 Oct 2008 This is one of the best beers around in my opinion. Fruity and hoppy with hints of citrus. Lovely.

BrianExcellent17 Jul 2008 A little sulphur on the aroma. Another golden / amber beer with citrus notes and bittersweet finish, but this was better than most.
